Sales of Fanagoria wines and grape juice have started in Nur-Sultan, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Fanagoria has exported wines of the following line extensions: NR (Riesling, Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet), F-Style (Chardonnay, Cabernet White, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Saperavi), Cru Lermont (Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Saperavi), white and rosé bruts and semi-doux sparkling wines, and Cabernet juice – altogether 2,220 bottles of 17 brand names.
According to Artem Zyrianov, Director of Kaz-Ital Invest, Fanagoria’s importer to this Central Asian country, the wines are being sold in their shop and two other well-known wine shops in the city. “For the first week, we sold twenty cases, and I would like to emphasize that our prices little differ from those offered by alcomarkets in Russia,” Mr. Zyrianov noted. He also announced that his company has already received inquiries from Almaty, the country’s biggest city, which “brings hope that the supplies will be expanding.”
“Several years ago, Fanagoria had already exported wines to Kazakhstam, but then our partners left the market,” Fanagoria’s Export Director Mikhail Leluk recounts. “Now we have established contacts with a new importer, which, as we hope, will become a long-term and mutually profitable cooperation.”
